This 24-month internship programme, hosted by the Communication and Marketing department under SSCO, is designed to provide unemployed graduates with practical experience that complements their academic background. Based in Centurion, the programme offers a monthly stipend between R5 000 and R6 000 and aims to equip interns with hands-on skills in communication, marketing, and public relations. It supports the CIDB’s strategic outreach and branding efforts while promoting employment equity, with a strong encouragement for candidates with disabilities to apply. Applicants who have previously participated in any internship or graduate programme are not eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and updating CIDB’s social media platforms
• Support website content creation and maintenance
• Contribute to graphic design tasks for campaigns and publications
• Participate in internal and external communication initiatives
• Help coordinate marketing and public relations activities
• Provide administrative support to the Communication and Marketing team
• Engage in learning and development aligned with the internship objectives
